Event Details

Four years ago we celebrated Purim with the music of the BEATLES!

Now it’s time to pay tribute to the solo careers of John, Paul, George, and Ringo! Maybe you’ll be amazed at how much of this music you remember!

“Let It Be Purim!” PURIM SHPIEL AT TBS - ONLY FOR ADULTS

This year’s Purim show will feature the music from the solo careers of John, Paul, George, and Ringo with lyrics rewritten to tell the Purim story. Appetizers and dessert foods will be served, and a “cash bar” will be available. This will be a fantastic night for adults only, with time for schmoozing with friends, much revelry, many Purim antics, and lots of fun! All are invited to dress up for the occasion…any fun costume of your choosing is great (with bonus mitzvah points to those who reflect the Fab Four)!

Other Purim Programs this year do not require registration and include:

ADULT MEGILLAH READING - Thursday, March 8th @ 7:00 AM – Join us in our Sanctuary as we explore the entire story of Purim as it appears in the Megillah. Our English reading will include questions, groggers, and discussion of the story that will help us to discover modern meaning and insight.

KIDS’ PURIM SHOWS - Sunday, March 11th – We will be doing a kids-friendly version of our “Let It Be Purim!” celebration on Sunday afternoon preceding our carnival.

12:15-12:45 PM in our Sanctuary – A show for our children ages 2-6 (including those in Kindergarten) and their families. These youngest children will then have some time to themselves in the Carnival from 12:45-1:15 PM.

12:45-1:15 PM in our Sanctuary – A show for our children in grades 1-5 and their families. Regardless of whether or not a child is in religious school during these hours, all are invited to join in this Purim show and megillah retelling.

PURIM CARNIVAL - Sunday, March 11th @ 1:15 PM – Fun and games for children and their families! Buy tickets at the door for games and food!
